  14. The new MOD.EXE For CLASS 2 FAX MODEMS addresses the following issues:
  15.  
  16. You are using a Class 2 faxmodem and WinFax Pro cannot send to some
  17. Canon, Panasonic, Sharp and other Facsimile Machines.
  18.  
  19. Also, if you are using a Class 2 fax/modem which is capable of fax
  20. transmissions at 14.4Kbps, using the V.17 specification for high speed
  21. fax transmissions.

  24. (2) How to Update MOD.EXE
  25.     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  26.     At the DOS prompt, locate MOD.EXE on your hard disk. If you selected the 
  27.     default directory during the installation of WinFax PRO 2.0 then MOD.EXE
  28.     is in your WINDOWS directory. Make a backup of the MOD.EXE currently on
  29.     your system by renaming MOD.EXE to MOD.OLD.

  31.     For WFX01.EXE, type the following: WFX02      - This self-extracts 
  32.                                                      MOD.EXE and README.TXT 
  33.                                                      (this file).

  35.     For WFX011.ZIP, type the following: PKUNZIP WFX01   - Same as above

  37.     Copy the extracted MOD.EXE ({size and DOS time and date stamp to be
  38.     added}) to the directory containing MOD.OLD.

  41. (3) How to verify that you are using the new MOD.EXE
  42.     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  43.     In the WinFax Pro 2.0 Adminstrator, click on Help About, the fifth line 
  44.     will read:
